We’re fresh off of watching one of our favorite anime’s to ever feature on this podcast and none of us could contain our excitement enough to not watch the sequel movie. Completely by chance, every member watched Puella Magi Madoka Magika: Rebellion. But the fuzzy (and downright depressing) feelings we felt for the anime have changed. Does Rebellion ruin the franchise? Did it throw away important mysteries the previous entry had established? Did it waste a beloved main character? Is that really how hyperspace works? What’s Rian Johnson’s next trilogy even going to be about? Oh wait. Wrong franchise.
